Prior to working at Village Medical Centre, Dr Mencaryous was working as a General Practitioner in Egypt for 14 years before relocating with his family to Mount Gambier, South Australia.
He has vast practical and academic experience in Mental Health, including time working within an inpatient centre using CBT Therapy for various mental disorders including depression, anxiety and stress related disorders.
Dr Mencaryous was granted a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology while in Egypt and has a special interest in Eye Diseases, Diagnosis and Management.
He is also one of our Arabic speaking Doctor’s.
