Dr Mina Nakhjavani

Dr Mina Nakhjavani is a qualified general practitioner, graduated with MD from the University of Yazd, Iran in 2011. Mina worked as a GP in Iran for 7 years before she moved to Australia in 2018. She continued her working career for 2 years in Adelaide and now she is in Mount Gambier. Respect for confidentiality and practicing with a patient-centred approach is Mina’s priority. She has a particular interest in working with patients suffering with different mental health issues. Mina is accredited from GPMHSC for Mental Health Care.

Her hobbies and personal interests are in watercolour painting, art and swimming.

Areas of interest are:

• Mental Health ( Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Grief, Bipolar disorder)
• Women’s Health( Cervical screening, Implanon insertion/ removal, pregnancy shared care)
• Chronic Disease Management ( Diabetes, Hypertension, Musculoskeletal disorders, Thyroid diseases, Joint disorders, Asthma )
• Minor surgeries and skin check and cosmetic injections
• Weight loss program
